English School, circa 1805, manner of George Dawe
Portrait of an elegant young mother, her three children and dog, one child showing a butterfly, in a river landscape with a bridge beyond presumably the family seat, unsigned, oils on canvas, the gilt ‘frame’ mouldings mounted onto the front edges of the canvas/ stretchers only.
