Chippendale Cutlery Tray


A Chippendale period mahogany cutlery tray, circa 1770, of good colour, dovetailed construction.

This cutlery tray displays the same features as a butler’s ‘tea tray’ supplied by the Chippendale workshops to Sir Lawrence Dundas for Aske Hall in 1765.
