A set of seven oval miniatures in gouache on ivory, circa 1860, North India, composed of six oval portraits centred by the Taj Mahal, set into an English oval gilt mount and gilt gesso rope twist oval frame with riband cresting, the original card backboard inscribed in ink with the names of each sitter and ‘The Tajh Mahal, Agra’.
